Try out a Deere 4115 if you can. It will be a little more capable for a horse operation. You rarely get too much tractor when buying...

Chris - only about a acre is lawn, which is why I suggested a riding mower for it. And I agree a brush hog can cut pretty nice if it's sharp and set up right.

I once mowed 7.82 acres with my Bolens 850 garden tractor.
It's only 8.25 horsepower and has a 38 inch mid mount mower.
Of course that was 30 years or so ago back when i was young and foolish.
............
I'm no longer as foolish. lol
