We did another one... Removing some old stumps that where left from last year, I was looking back to watch the chain, and the front bucket was just the right height to roll a smaller root ball up under the front end. It broke the hydralic line fitting for the steering cylinder... This is about the third time I have tagged the line, but the first time I tore it. I really, REALLY dislike the hydro lines being in front of the axle along with the steering rod. I can never keep the dust fittings on the knuckles... All of it should be behind the axle.... As anyone else done this working in the brush...

Could you rig up some sort of shield to keep this from happening. Maybe if you took a pic of it, someone here could give an idea or two and what you might be able to do....
