How close is the paint match? If you want a inexpensive paint, try Rustoleam's Lobster Red. It is very close. Otherwise it is the high dollar stuff from the dealer

I bought a knock off paint from Family and Farm that says it is Kubota orange. $5 a can. Not sure of how good the match is yet. But I'm not willing to pay Kubota 3 times the price. It will get scratched and dirty either way.

Now if it was for the hood or fenders, I would want a good match.

The Lobster Red is a better match than many of the "kubot orange" knock offs. and cheaper too at $3.68 a can at wally world

I hooked up my son in law's snow plow which I fabbed up a month ago. I'm going to declare victory on this project.

Later this week I'll weld the quick attach plate to the bucket.

I would say you did good. Putting the plate on the old bucket should go easy.

Thanks for the comments guys. I will probably also put a receiver hitch or trailer ball on the cross arm. It is not a heavy cross member but for trailer moving it should be ok.

Wal-Mart has Reese 2 1/2 to 2" reducers for cheap that work great for that.

I want to do the same thing but I'm either going to try to do this on my JD210LE or preferably on my Case 580CK. Because they are both hefty, I think I'm going to go ahead and buy the W.R. It looks to be pretty heavy duty and would require less of my welding.

It is just becoming clear how many different attachments could make my life easier and SS is an easier and cheaper way to go.

I wish I could edit the first post. For anyone doing this for a Kubota B2x20, don't get the cut out weld on plate. The cutouts are in the wrong place to cover the holes in the bucket. Get a full plate. You can use the full plate or do what I did which was to measure, mark and make my own cut out. Quarter inch plate is absolutely fine.
