Was originally looking at used options, but decided new might be best for my situation. Am between the Kubota L2501 and L3301, so had the both quoted out at the local dealership. Definitely higher than I was expecting... They threw in the rebates, including the 2 attachment deal Kubota is running at the moment.

L3301
LOADED REAR TURF TIRES
LA525 Q/A LOADER
L2256 66" Q/A BUCKET
RB1772 72" REAR BLADE
QH15 3PT QUICK HITCH

TOTAL NOT INCLUDING SALES TAX: $22,785

The L2501 quote features everything from above

TOTAL NOT INCLUDING SALES TAX: $20,206

Does this seem high, or is it realistic and I am crazy?
Thanks.

Checked-out a L2501;you didn't say if what you priced was the HST version.I like the size of the small L's (we have two in the family);both are real work horses for sure. Not much to be gained going to the L3301 and adding all the pollution gear.Price quoted seems to be in line for our area(North-East).
Depending where you are;you may be able to "not" pay the sales tax.

What is too much for the money, thousands?

The problem with the L 2501 is that it only has 19 PTO horsepower. The L 3301 has 26 PTO horsepower. Check it out a lot of rear PTO powered implements need more than 19 hp.

Most folks either go for the L2501 or the L3901. The L2501 gives you the benefit of simpler engine without all the tier IV emissions equipment. If you move up into an emissions tractor (above 25hp) you may as well get the power of the L3901. The cost to benefit factor doesn’t compute with the L3301.

Probably right in there. Try a geared version, more power and cheaper. I love mine...

I think that the L3301 price is pretty close. When mine was quoted it was the below. Certainly differences in the setups but close in overall price.

kubota L3301 - 4WD HST
R4 tires filled
LA525 QA FEL with L2256 66" bucket
PFL2042 42" Forks
E1134 Deluxe fiberglass canopy
Engine block heater

Delivered for $21,500 (not including tax)

Turf tires and a rear/angle blade are an unusual combination unless moving snow is your primary rear blade task.

This is an example where having your location filled in your T-B-N PROFILE would return higher quality responses. General location good; IE: Central Idaho.
