Another tire question

I know it's been mentioned some where on here. But on my ym1720, it has 9.5 rears and 5-14 front. Can i use the 9.5 on my ym1700 instead of the 8.3-24s rear and 5.3-12s front. Would that throw ratio off. I can't do the rotation match-up, as the 1720 isn't able to roll. Just tired of the rice pattie tires tearin up my drive/yrd.,etc.. Thanx in advance, B safe

You can figure it out with math from the diameters. New tires get it from their website description. Current tires you could physically measure or do the same net search if still available.

2 wheel drive models? Those don't care about front/back ratio.

Google is your friend. This link will offer you more information than you can absorb. Rolling Circumference Index (RCI) is what you need to pay attention to.

Not being familiar with your tractor, if it's 2wd as suggested previously, it doesn't matter and forget all the RCI information that I linked you to.

Great i was hoping someone would tell me, it'll fine. That $800 1720 has the r4s (9.5-22), i'll just swap em out. I'll have to check if bolt pattern and center hole are the same, unless ya'll know right off hand, 83' 1720- 79' 1700. Appreciate it.
