Tractor
Kubota L4200
I am considering a used L4400 at a dealer. It has an Ansung 976 loader. However, it jogged my memory of reading a while back somewhere in the Kubota posts ( I searched, but can't find it now) where someone mentioned that the Ansung loader only had a midpoint attachment to the tractor, and no attachment at the front or rear.
Does anyone know anything about this ?

they build basicly two loaders are fit them to tractors they don't nessesarily belong on.

The loader on my Branson is made by Ansung (at least I hope so, since the owner's manual is by Ansung :D). It has Three (3) Mounting Points. Front, Middle, and Rear. Everything appears to be well-made, very robust for the size tractor (35hp), and the specs are competitive. All the welds look professionally done - no splatter, etc., and I like the quick-tach, and the recessed zerks for greasing.

I don't think that Ansung is fitting loaders to tractors they "don't necessarily belong on" - But some dealers may be... I guess I'm just surprised by the blanket statement about them being "crap," since mine seems to be a high-quality unit, that's all.

I've owned a "crap" loader in the past, and my current one is worlds ahead of that one...

Lunk, did a search on Ansung loaders on the web. Found a couple of threads here you may wish to read.

As to the comments on being "crap". Could be the issues they saw have been improved; could be their standards are higher; could be they are/were wrong; could be the units they saw were; could be they are correct. We all have some brand prejudice even the guy with green, orange, red and blue equipment. He has his favorite still.

Why would you go cheap/aftermarket on a good tractor??? It kills the resale and lets be honest when is the last time you heard of anyone complaining about a major tractor manufature making a junk loader to put on there tractor??? If its green keep it that way. if its blue keep that way and same goes for kubota. If you are going to keep it which one will you be able to find parts for in 20yrs??? Will you remember the $1,000 you saved in 20yrs? JMTC

Here we go again on the great loader debate.
the big boys will tell ya...leave the loader business to the professionals and let the mainlines concentrate on tractors. There are plenty of unhappy kubota loader owners out there. There is always a better alternative to the brandline loader! Ansung makes a good loader and you will find them to be quite popular in the south central part ot the USA. They will be more popular in the years to come.

I have owned 2 ansung loaders now, neither one have had any kind of failure. I have definately stressed them to no end. I just love some comments I see at times. I remember not to long ago that kubota was thought of as a cheap import second rate tractor...... A lot of part time farmers, good advertising and a good product made them popular......
