Any 3 point blowers NOT to buy??

I emailed Provonost and received pricing last week. HMOG! Almost $6k for a 62" with hydro chute! For that cost, it better make sno-cones! Even the Allied and Puma quotes they gave me were close to $3k. I found an Allied locally for $1900 a few weeks ago. Guess I should have bought it?

Puma is provonosts entry level blower and a very good one too. I'd guess the 6000$ quote was for a commercial duty unit.

You become very sorry that you saved money when you hit something and the impeller bends. Dont no that model, but robustness paid for up front becomes more worthwhile every day.

the impellers and the ends of the rotor bent on my allied/farmking. that wont ever happen on my new one. steel is 3x thicker and gussets all over the place.

I agree you get what you pay for. I was just shocked. Land pride makes some nice attachments, too, but not for $6k. If I needed it, it would be different. Can't justify it right now.

I don't know whether it is a land pride brand or not, but it sure is a deadly piece of equipment. The steel is very thick, and it is much more sturdy then the Kabota front mount model. And it only set me back about $1700. image.jpg

Have a look at the photo, and zoom in on it. You will see just how thick the Steel is.

That is sweet. I think is made by LP from the looks of it. Very nice.

I may splurge with the 0% for 60 mos.
