any Brewers hanging out here?

Thomas,
I haven't tried wild grapes ... but I did make my very first batch of wine from ..... grapefruit!
Now, if you want pucker with your wine .....

I stuck to grape concentrate kits after that one.

However, my brother-in-law is a real wine "inventor". If it grows, he'll try to make wine out of it. I've sampled some great wine at his place - High Bush Cranberry, Saskatoon, Blueberry, Raspberry, Wild Black Cherry ...

too bad that common sense ain't

Thomas, We have alot of wild grapes around here. They are called Mustang grapes, and have a sour, acid taste. In plain language they taste nasty. People do make wine with them, but I've never tasted any. They will make a so-so jelly if enough sugar is added.
Ever heard of tomatoe wine?/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Earn, we have a wild grape here in ARK that is real sour, they are rather small. We call them "POSSUM GRAPES" WE also have muscadines that make great wine and jelly.
