I'm interested in what you paid in brokerage fees. That's the only unknown that's keeping me from ordering one. And yes, I contacted Travis and the shipping company he uses, no luck there. I'd like to hear from someone that went through the process and has "real world" numbers. Thanks!

I had mine shipped south of the border and picked it up myself (pre covid) so I only had to pay the taxes 15% here in Quebec. May be worth the drive to pick one up.

It's an 8 hour one way trip to the border plus it's still closed. This won't be an option for me, unfortunately.

I have a (made in Canada) HLA root and brush grapple that I really like for harvesting logs for firewood. You don't have to pay duty and shipping isn't a problem. They make a compact grapple as well. I don't know about price comparison but the quality of the bucket and grapple that I have is excellent.

I've looked into them. They're close to double the weight of the EA grapple. I'll go with a Land Pride from my dealer if I don't order an EA from the states.

Though I owned a house in Nova Scotia for many years, I never had that problem since I trailered everything across the border myself.
I do not have a suggestion for you, except the one fact,...... that EA makes absolutely the best attachments on the market!

I agree.

What I found interesting, as a "seasonal resident" of Nova Scotia, I only had to pay the 5% GST on goods I brought across the border.
The 10% Provincial part of the 15% HST was waived.....for seasonal residents.
