Any comments on 3/8" & 1/2" ratchets to buy

After struggling with a bunch of craftsman ratchets that
are just junk, I bought a closeout set of John Deere ratchets
that has served me well for a couple years now. So far
so good. Not nearly as expensive as Snap-On, but much better
quality than Sears, and lifetime warranty to boot.

I never pictured John Deere as being in the tool business. Any idea who makes them for Deere?

I don't know who makes the hand tools,
I know some of the power tools are
hitachi, like the drills, saws, etc.
I'd be interested to know who makes
the ratchet sets also!
