Yes it is , I think I'm going to build one similar to this , but I'm going to put a 4cyl or a Diesel engine on mine.

Well, if you're willing to commit the time, effort and materials to it, then I'm sure you'll enjoy owning/using it. Posts lots of pics of your progress starting with the unit you get in "as acquired" condition.

Couldn't take on something like that myself - neither skill nor interest - but would love to watch some one else do it

That would be my preference. Seems like it would be easier to implement too.

I have purchased a bobcat mt 55 with a bad engine so I'm leaning towards using dual levers for steering etc. also thinking foot pedals for hydraulic control ???
