Any concern about a "dry start" after a tractor sits unused for a while?

I agree with those that think a month is nothing. Start and go.
If setting over winter with old oil then changing the oil would be a greater benefit. Gets any contamination and or water out before starting.
Draining the fuel from a gasser's carb would help restarting.

I have 3 older Ford Tractors.
Two are gas, and one is diesel.
They are stored indoors, and sit for more than 9 months.
I use Battery Tenders, and Battery Minders (I have many, but am slowly switching over to the "Minders").
I add only Stanadyne additive to the diesel.
I buy only 100LL (low lead) aviation gas for the gassers, because there is NO GASOLINE sold WITHOUT ETHANOL in Ma.
I do use Stabil.
100LL is rather pricey, but I use less than 25 gal. of it each year.
I also use it (mixed) for chain saws and weed whips, as well as (unmixed) for my 6.5 KW Honda generator.
I use automotive (with ethanol) premium gas in my big box store (JD) riding mower, and I add Stabil.

I would be concerned more about using a quality oil filter with a good anti-drainback valve so that every time you start the engine the oil pump does not have to fill the filter up. When you do an oil change pour some oil in the filter so you don't have to wait for the oil pump to fill it up too.
