I see what you are saying about the LBZ. I was referring to the fact that there is a TSB on the LB7 injectors (which I thought he may be coRnfusing as an issue with injectors). I have had three sets in a 2002 model. I'll not see a fourth. It's gone as of last month.

my brain gets ahead of my fingers sometimes, lol
the special policy 04039 is for the LB7 vin code 1 not the LBZ as i said.
the policy covers MOST 01-03 engines and makes them a warranty item for a specific failure up to 200k.
this failure is for excessive fuel return only, if an injector is causing a smoking condition thats not covered. The extension becomes a real big mess if there is not an excessive fuel return problem.

one thing i will say and this is from the durimax trenches, i made a count of how many aftermarket fuel filters i saw on injector jobs compared to gm filters on injector jobs. i stoped counting at 30 aftermarket to 1 gm. thats just what i saw.
