I took my u48 in last fall before warranty was up to get a small pilot control leak fixed. It is very small, they thought it was an oring but I guess it’s not. I’ve traced it to the #4 hose but instead of being the quick connect it looks like it may be the hose crimp. Still watching it but it’s looking that way. Curious how difficult it will be to snake it through cab without making a mess. The hose in question is #170 on this diagram. As of now I’ve taken all plastic off and will continue running it and watching. It’s either the op ring and running under the plastic retainer and getting on hose or more than likely the crimp. Very difficult as this fluid is very light and transparent. Everything is cleaned and spotless right now.

Any chance the dealer would take care of it?
It was under warranty when they failed to fix it after all.
Good Luck!

Tie a heavy piece of string or small rope to the old hose to use as a fish tape to pull new hose back in. Maybe take a few pictures to confirm how the current hose is laying or routed.

Not sure on how system is made so not sure on method of bleeding air. It might self bleed but again not sure.

Any luck in figuring out exactly where leak is? I don’t like oil leaks especially in a nice new cab , it’d irritate me to get it fixed.
So are the quick couplers you refer to under those black plastic caps that connect hose ends to bottom of valve?
Would at least make disassembly easier if they are.
Those gold colored plunger assemblies on top side looks like they have a slot cut in them to pry out after removing joystick assembly. Pretty sure each one will have a O-Ring .
Have you found the other end of the hose you think is leaking? Been able to eyeball the routing for it?

Haven’t pinpointed it yet, but it’s ether the #4 quick connect oring or the actual hose crimp. It’s so small it takes time to let it bleed out. Very hard to tell if it’s the quick connect and the oil is running under the black plastic and onto the hose. I’ll pick up an oring. If it’s the hose it’s going to be pia. It snakes behind seat and through the cab under all the console stuff. Not fun looking especially when you trying to not spill fluid out of the hose.
Again it’s very small. Basically a seep that takes hours to show up as a 1” puddle.
