Something he can wear at all times would be a good thing...
More than a few years ago now, a lady was found dead in her house. She had been dead for decades. The roof on her house had rotted through and leaves where piled up in the kitchen floor. Some kids had gotten into the house and found the lady's bones buried under the leaves.
The lady did not have family and did not talk much with the neighbors so when she went down nobody checked on her. The neighbors just thought she had left and the city did not care there was one more "abandoned" house in the city. Hopefully, the lady quickly died of a heart attack.
This past winter, one of our coldest in years, a lady in my county went outside, slipped on ice and was knocked out. The next morning she did not show up for a hair appointment which was highly unusual so the beautician called the house. There was no answer so the beautician called 911 or family who found the lady. She would not have lasted much longer in the cold and it was a miracle she lasted as long as she did.
I can't remember if this was in NC or another state, but years back an elderly man fell into the hole under the outhouse. I guess the floor rotted out.
I think it was the mail man who hear who calling out for help.
We had family members fall down and can't get up but we had family near by to check on them, thank goodness.
Years ago, I was sick with nobody in the area to check on me. I went home from work feeling really bad and I could feel it getting worse. I grabbed some water to put next to the bed, I could tell I was going to be in bed for awhile, and then passed out. Before I passed out I tried to call someone but did not get them. I thought about calling 911 which means I was really feeling sick  but of course I did not. I woke up a few times with a high fever and the ceiling spinning but I could not get out of bed for a good eight hours. The fever broke at that time but I was a hurting unit that is for sure. I really needed someone to check on me...
I love mussels but some mussels don't like me. I have eaten a certain mussel dish three times, from two different restaurants, and gotten sick enough to pass out. I would wake up at 2:00am ish with a fever and feel like I was gonna pray to the porcelain god. I would go to the bathroom think I was going to puke and then I would pass out. I could feel it happening so I would try to get back in bed or lay on the floor and only once have I managed to lay down on the floor before passing out. Two times I passed out trying to get back to bed and almost fell out the window!

Both times, my parents were at the house and neither they nor my wifey heard the long bang of me hitting the wall so hard the blinds rattled nor did they hear me hit the floor.
 Me thinks there are trying to get rid of me!:laughing::laughing:
I don't eat mussels anymore.

Dan
