Any have those 5.5 gal cans with electric pump

I used my VP Racing yellow 5.5gal can for the first time today. It's probably just my luck, but what an absolute atrocity this can is. No matter how tight I snugged it, the giant 4" cap dribbles diesel fuel all over you and your equipment as soon as you tip the can to dispense fuel. I even paid extra for a flexible spout that threads in place of the pipe plug on top of the cap. The flexi spout is worthless given the cap leak. I had to take the cap off and use a funnel in my tractor's fuel filler. May as well have used a 5gal pail. LOL. I would have given this can flying lessons had it not had ~5gal of fresh new diesel fuel in it. It may still get lessons..

I just spent a bit more and ordered an electric pumped 30 Gallon diesel caddy for ~$200 from Vevor,

The day after ordering a report on another site warned me that they received the 35 gallon model and the fill spout was not welded in place which led to water and rust contamination which damaged their new 10K mower.
Going to check it over real close before using it.

Certainly tired of lifting 5 gallon cans over the hoods of the tractors and TLB and then having diesel leak all over or the fill speed being so slow- time for a change.

I've got a 30 gal. diesel caddy but it has no rust or water issues because I keep it inside my barn. It would seem that rust and water would be a result of leaving it out in the weather which only an idiot would do.

It arrived today. Had a peek inside. Nice and very clean no rust and decent welds. I am going to weld a battery box/ holder together just behind and between the tires along with two lifting points up top with some plates under them to spread out the stress.

May also add a plug in remote pump control as well.

No complaints at all for under $200 on the 30 gallon 6 GPM diesel Vevor fuel caddy. Was in walmart today and they wanted $35 for a pos 5 gallon can. Same model I bought earlier and absolutely despise the dispenser on it. Trickles fuel while killing your finger at the same time- the spring tension in the one I got would pass for a valve spring on some engines. SMH.

I also plan on keeping the fuel caddy under cover until it is needed to fill a tank.

ps. Both my Rhino tractors and the 1970's Ford 550 TLB lived most of their lives outside and checking out the tanks with a flashlight when near empty they are all three rust free and clean. I do have plans for covered storage for all three.

The Vevor caddy that the guy was talking about had a low spot at the filler neck and was never welded/ sealed at the factory, so it leaked water inside. He definitely got a bad unit.
