Ive been seeing a lot of ads for this deal, 3 pack of "race" jugs, with a battery pump included. Finally clicked on one of the ads, and $40 for 3 5.5 gal cans isn't bad, and the pump is included. Curious if anyone has them.
IMHO, once you give your credit card number, that’s were the problems start!!!Ive been seeing a lot of ads for this deal, 3 pack of "race" jugs, with a battery pump included. It's a pain finding reasonably priced "D" cells today. I have a very good flashlight that uses four of them. I use four "AA" cells, held in place by some plastic pipe of appropriate diameter and length. Still lasts over a year before getting dim and I don't have to throw away batteries that haven't seen much use. Works for me.Years ago I had a similar pump for kerosene.
I did go ahead and place an order, I'll report back. Im thinking the cans are likely not every heavy duty, but I was needing a new diesel can...
The pump, if i recall, used 2 D batteries or something, which i didn't normally have laying around?
My pump uses D cells as well, but it also has a 12VDC jack. I was a little afraid of sparking around gas fumes when using a 12V adapter, so I attached this Milwaukee M12 battery adapter to the pump and use my supply of Milwaukee tool batteries to power it.It's a pain finding reasonably priced "D" cells today. Yeah... it was a scam. Had to report it to card company, as the website was deleted a couple days after placing order. Ended up just gettinf a regular old plastic diesel jug at AceInquiring minds wanna know...
I've got a 30 gal. diesel caddy but it has no rust or water issues because I keep it inside my barn. It would seem that rust and water would be a result of leaving it out in the weather which only an idiot would do.I just spent a bit more and ordered an electric pumped 30 Gallon diesel caddy for ~$200 from Vevor,
The day after ordering a report on another site warned me that they received the 35 gallon model and the fill spout was not welded in place which led to water and rust contamination which damaged their new 10K mower.
Going to check it over real close before using it.
Certainly tired of lifting 5 gallon cans over the hoods of the tractors and TLB and then having diesel leak all over or the fill speed being so slow- time for a change.
