my wife just got me a Cub Lt1050 for my 40th B Day. we have about 2 acres to mow. it has a 50'' cut....a 26 HP Kohler engine.....3 blades...and the deck wash system. paid 1999$ for it. unloaded it and started mowing. it is the most awesome mower i have ever owned....if anyone else makes a BETTER mower for under 2000$ , i dont know how they keep a straight face while they work.

the key the deck wash system is to run the blades WHILE you're cleaning, and for a couple of minutes AFTERWARDS to dry it out.....
