I regularly watch the girls jog around campus. Does that count? It does get my pulse rate up sometimes. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Jog??/w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif Isn't that what you do with your hand when you reach around the milk to get to the beer? /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

I tried jogging but kept spilling my soda and dropping my pretzels.

Hi Scott, I had been running 4 - 5 miles, 4-5 times a week until we sold our house in suburbia to build in the country. I've been in an apartment for 4 months now, running has just about ceased, I've put on 8 pounds /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif

Hope to be moving in around September, then get back in shape /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I get to Charleston WV about once a month, try to run along the Kanawah river from downtown up to the capitol building when I'm there.

If you ever see me running, call 911, and quick! 'cause you can figure that whatever's behind me is mean and tough!/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Scott -

I run several miles, maybe 5 times a week.

Of course, I live in suburbia so I do it at one of the local gyms. On a machine.

Was quite the runner in my youth, but these days I have to be mindful of the knee I blew out a few years ago in martial arts, plus my latest malady -- plantar fascia (I think). Neither takes kindly to running on "real" turf, so for the time being I'm sticking to the zero-impact machines. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

Don't know it it's my 54 year old bones or the 60-some pounds I've gained since my track team days, but chasing frisbees is a lot more work than it used to be.

Oh man Harv! Didn't anyone ever tell you?

You throw the frisbee, and the dog chases it!/w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

A mile 4 times a week is pretty good. That's how I started last spring. In December, I completed my first marathon. Keep it up. Have fun.
