I just installed my HD toothbar over the weekend; amazing digging now. Can't say how impressed I am with the L39. Pretty happy camper when I'm in the seat /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif If a person needs a TLB, look no further than the L39.

My only caution about the HD grapples is that they are HEAVY and with a load in them can be very dangerous. Reason being that you will tend to want to lift and place a lot of material over and above. The height along with the weight makes them tippy. I know a guy who bought one for his L48 and is now selling it becuase it scares the **** out of him. He wouldn't sell it to me either because he didn't want me to get hurt.

Not sure if you've been using your seat belt, but the belt on the L39 is very comfortable. It doesn't bind and tighten up like some other Kubotas. I use mine all the time now. When connected it gets the buckle out of the way too so you can shift better. Good safety design...although likely unintentional. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Might just want to consider the easy on and off type that connect to the bucket and have a single or double cylinder. They are much lighter and a lot less money too. Prob not as effective, but close. It'll run off the front hydro too...if we ever get it from Kubota.

Here is another shot of the toothbar. This thing weighs 135 pounds and is quite a wicked looking piece of metal that really gets the job done. Was surprised that UPS delivered it to the homesite, although I did have to assist the driver getting it out of her truck.
