Any more info on the new L3030 model?

As I understand it, the new L3030 model is replacing the B2910. I had been considering the B2910, but my timetable has slipped on when I will be ready to purchase a new tractor, so I was thinking that this L3030 might be available by the time I'm ready.

Does anybody have any more information or pictures of this new model? I have read the other thread that had some comments on it. I'm curious about whether a skidsteer quick attach will be available and whether the new loader specs will be improved. Also, what other improvements Kubota has made from the B2910.

I think it is called the B3030, rather than L3030...

I PMed you with a link that has some pictures of the B3030...apparently it is not appreciated if that other site is mentioned in posts at TBN...

I could not wait any longer. Stopped by the dealer today to check on the B3030.
Dealer had a brochure on the new B3030. Here is what I got from it and another brochure that was comparing it to various other brands.
First the upgrades from a B2910.
1. Built in cup holder.
2. Built in tool box.
3. Engine is same as B2910 but with a DE added to model number.
4. New white dash and gages.
5. 403 loader that has no cross bar in the way of fuel cap.
6. 403 loader new valve and joy stick.
7.Slightly sloped hood at front grill.
8. Steering is now similar to Grande L cylinder on front axle. This gives even tighter turning radius Than B2910.
9. A factory cab can be ordered on the B3030. Complete with A/C and heat. Dealer thought cab was kind of tight. He is 6' and 200+lbs.
10. New frame mounted Backhoe. This BH will cost more than 4690 model for B2910. Hydraulics are supplied by tractor not PTO pump. Chain boom swing has been replaced by cylinders.
There may be other changes but for the most part the B3030 has little improvement over B2910.
If there is a need for Cab I would wait for the B3030.
Not sure the Backhoe will work with Cab. Dealer is looking into this option.
I was hoping for some of the electronics that the Grande L's have. Looks like I will be keeping my 2910 for some time.

That's great Ron. Do you remember any specs on the Loader? Does the LA403 have more lift capacity than the LA402? Any design change on the loader?

I must admit I am pretty happy with my B2910 too...

But I really would like to have a Bh750 hoe on it. Wonder if the BH750 will work on the B2910? If so, I would probably be willing to trade my BL4690 in on one... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Henro, I can't say if the BH will work or not, but I posted a couple pictures of the B3030 in my gallery.

I put up 3 photos. One of the new white dash. One of the B3030 with a factory cab option. And of of the B3030 with FEL and BB doing some work in the dirt. I would have put up more but I'm not on my computer and don't have editing software on this machine.

The 403 loader has the same specs as the 402.

The backhoe at this time will only fit the B3030. I asked if it was going to be available for the Grande L series tractor. He said the 4690 would still be the second choice for that line. If you look at the pictures that have been posted elsewhere there appear to be some brackets that are added to the B3030 for the Backhoe.
The specs for the BH75 are higher by about 500lbs over the 4690.

I guess I was hoping the BH75 (I inadvertently added an extra 0 in the above post) might have brackets that would work on a B2910, thinking that the B3030 might have a small chance of sharing basic frame similarities...wishfull thinking, I know... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Sure does look like a better design than the 3PH setup. Wish there was a way...if there were, I would at least look into trading my BL4690 in towards a B75...
