I don't have any security problems here in Pennsylvania but I do carry all of the time on my tractors / ATV's. I had a gun rack on the ATV's but it got in the way so the final solution was my tool box guns. I picked up a couple of Leinad PM12's which shoot a 380 cal round. I have used the gun a number
of times on groundhogs and other small critters. It's not the most accurate weapon but I have had no problems with hogs out to 50 feet or so. Being square and stamped it does seem to wear well bouncing around in the tool boxes.
I picked them up at a gun show for $180 each.
I don't have any kids and my property is fenced and I have no youngsters around so I am not worried about having a handgun laying around for the most part.
