Any opinions on brake controllers?

Remember, a $50,000 truck, $20,000 tractor, and a $3,000 trailer. Spending $350 on a brake controller is small change. Especially when it stops a trailer in 30% less distance under panic conditions.

I upgraded a few years ago from a Tekosha Voyager to a Prodigy. It's a good controller for what I do (about 3k miles a year towing a 10k horsetrailer). I agree with Soundguy. It depends on your application. My setup works perfectly for me.

If I towed heavier I would probably go with a higher end solution (P3 at a minimum or maybe the Maxbrake, which sounds real nice). My .02.
