Any problems with BX2230?

Looking to buy a used one. Any issues with them?

Mine is a 2005 with almost 600 hours. Virtually all trouble free. I did just rig up an improved air cleaner bracket because the original had started rattling. That seems to be a common issue with this model, particularly if it's run at idle a lot, but it was also very easy to correct.

Otherwise, it's just a super handy mower and chore machine. I have a much larger L4610 for heavy work, but the BX is so convenient for general chores, it gets used all the time.

I think most will say that it is very much like the BX2200 that you have, but does have some improvements in pedal action, etc.

The original seat sux. It was the most uncomfortable thing I'd ever sat on. Got a new replacement from Messicks and everything is fine now. That's been my only complaint.
