You'd be making a mistake to get any Ford that is not a powerstroke. Some 94s were not powerstroke. Shoot for 2000-2003 with the 7.3.
Any recommendations for a toy hauler?

I love my 99 450 with a 7.3 pulls great.. Got it with advice from many on here. has low 4.88 rears... so is not a speed demon.. but man does it pull..
