Well, in my conservative right wing opinion, your vote this November for President will make the largest difference in your gun rights that you will ever be able to make. Hillary Clinton said the Supreme Court "got Heller wrong". Donald Trump has already made a list of Supreme Court nominees who will support your 2nd Amendment right. It is that simple. If you want the individual right to keep and bear to go away, then you need to join Island Tractor in voting that right away by casting your vote for Hillary Clinton. If you want to retain your present right to keep and bear arms, then the choice is clear, no matter what else you might think about Donald Trump.

I cannot imagine a simpler choice.

What about us young white dudes from blue states? I know a lot of them who are NOT going to pull the lever for Hillary.
It should be interesting to see how some normally blue states fall. Last week, Hillary had a 12 point lead in NY (vs the 20-30 point lead that Obama had at this time in 2012).
Should be interesting to see where that goes with the DNC email release.

194 posts and IT won't define assault weapon. I've clearly had my fair share of common sense discussion here.

I'm also for banning eating somewhat small, fast, oversized fish of a certain type. I'm sure everyone will agree it's the right thing to do.

He will leave it to "experts" like the Attorney General of Mass. for the finer technical points of defining such things.:laughing: Of course she wouldn't know one from a rattlesnake either. :laughing: All she knows is she want's to make a name for her miserable political hack self.

I have a 'few' firearms and this is my latest acquisition, the original assault rifle.

Since this is what the people who can't read the Constitution, correctly, feel is the only thing we should be allowed to have, I had to have one. I wonder when this will go on the list.

Probably as soon as the "grabbers" figure out that if push came to shove you could make your own black powder out of sulphur, potassium nitrate and charcoal. Mix it up and "corn" it with water, let dry and grind to the proper granule size. You can find and knap flints for ignition, and you could melt up wheel weights for projectiles. Yep, you could be totally self sufficient after Ammunition and reloading components are completely banned. Hmmm.. I may need to get one of those myself..
