Nice land. How often will you need to traverse that hill? Or other ones like it? Regular winching gets old fast especially as part of a regular path. If it's part of a regular trail, I'd be inclined to cut/fill/regrade that it can be safely done without the winch. If winching is your plan, remember that you could get any vehicle up there hanging off a cable...even a Civic

We will be going up and down multiple times a day. The house is at the top and there is a lake at the bottom. Figured that utility vehicle + power beyond + hyd winch = cable car :)
The land can be re-graded some, but the soil is nearly pure sand so errosion will be an issue.

Yep, I asked my Kubota dealer to look into it and it's not recommended. The flow rate is supposed to be around 5gpm but no word on the pressure and it would need a cooler.
The Utility model should have that standard per: https://www.kubota.com/product/rtv900XT/pdf/rtv900xt_features_rear.pdf and they advertise it as being usable for a chainsaw, breaker, concrete cutter, etc.
You might see if you have a Kubota commercial dealer (who deals more with the skidsteer/excavator and construction side of things) rather than one who may not be as familiar with the "commercial equipment" from Kubota.

Can anyone recommend a good comercial dealer to consult? I'm in central IL and have been working with Rohlfs in Hartsburg and German Bliss in East Peoria. Neither of them are comfortable recommending the RTV series for this application.

They aren't anywhere near you, but give Messicks or Barlows a call, they both do a lot of volume and have a good idea what the RTV900 can handle.
I would NOT do it unless you have a hydraulic cooler on the machine as you are almost certain to overheat it.

That hill isn't something I would expect to need to winch over. Have you talked to any local dealers about a demo on your land? Looking at the pc I would just put my Gator in 4wd and drive up it...same for going down but you'd have to tap the throttle to keep the clutch engaged. Unless you're planning on hauling a trailer when you go I think most true 4wd utiility vehicles could traverse it easily a Ranger or Gator would both have all 4 wheels turning...not sure on Kubota some say yes and others say no....my old RTV 500 didn't only 3 wheels turned which is annoying if you need just a tiny bit more and you look at that one wheel just sitting there not moving.:confused3:

Another option would be the Polaris or other machine that had a PTO. Simply mount a PTO pump on the PTO takeoff and you could probably run all sorts of stuff.

A heavily modified Jeep could make it up the hill but it would throw a lot of sand.

With the information being posted, I thought I would just go to the source. I visited my two local dealers one is a very small construction kubota dealer where I purchased my L45 and the other a tractor dealer where I got my RTV1100. Both eventually found the specs for the 900 utility model, 5-6 gpm @ 2000 psi and referred to light duty construction work. The writeup stated the system consisted of a separate tank, pump, filter, cooler and valve, one even found a kit to add this to existing RTVs (K7561-9937-0) but could find it in the system as available.

This may not be enough to do what you want but at least you have some info to use. I may look at the add on kit just to power my T post driver. Right now I load my generator and a 25gal air tank in the bed of my 1100 to drive posts which is a pain.

One of the questions my local dealers couldn't answer was what type of hydraulic system the attachments use. My winch and splitter are set up for open center.

Being as you will be running it off of a remote, it will (effectively) be open center without power beyond for you no matter how its setup.
