Any word on NH taking back the compact line from LS

/ Any word on NH taking back the compact line from LS #11
what came though the dealer grapevine was that LS was not willing to make engineering investments into the compacts that New Holland wanted. LS wanted CNH to pay for the costs of improving the product, which they did not want to do since they would also be improving the other comapnies who LS OEM's for. So it looks like the cab and CVT tractors from ISM are comming back. There also is a new person hired at NH to fix the mess thats been created here. I would not be surprised to see LS go away at some point. We're selling fewer tractors than we did with ISM, even though they are cheaper.

IMHO opinion the compact LS is a far better product then NH. NH is living off their name not their quality, this may end up being a good thing for LS(atleast for the compact line)? I'm not trying to bash any tractor but from what I have witnessed around this area is that the NH is going down hill(including the bigger ag tractors). What seems to be keeping them going is the ole "I've bought that all my life, don't want to change". I'm also not putting LS on a pedestal, just writting that I've heard some folks that have newer NH'es say they wish they went with Kubota, IH, or something else. In the end I feel most of these companies only care about quantity NOT quality? Again not a bash just something I've noticed around here.
