Will the "new" offer parts for the old? They will probably be like my ford truck dealer where anything sold before 2000 is to old to have parts available.

Yanmar tractor parts will be available for TON's of years !! I worry alittle bit of some of the old attachments that they were purchasing from another manufacture, That will depend on the other manufacture . So far No Problems.

2014 you will see some Models continue to be painted Yellow and Black and the New models being painted Red and Black. I was told the Popular EX3200 will continue to be painted Yellow and Black for the Next 2 Years.

I know that these or something close to them are already offered in Italy. Italy plants lots and lots of organic rice. Yanmar is very popular over there.

As for parts, I went with a YM2500/YM2610 because it shares so many parts with the John Deere 850 & 950 compact tractors. There will be parts for decades for these models just like the older Ford 8N and Massey-Furgenson tractors.

The farm implements? Well, the red New Holland and MF are dependable and the colors go well with the tractor. So why pick something too foreign that parts are hard to come by ???

I love the gray Yanmars with the 4 different speed PTOs. I can run the UK stuff easily and use #2 speed for a slightly faster cut using a bush hog. It looks more like a finish cut when the blade is a bit sharpened.

The John Deere 850 (Yanmar) did well, that's why I decided going with a true Yanmar as the next best choice. Actually there are more features over the base unit JD got. Just because it's green you will pay more for less !!!!
