I'd also be concerned about the HST, are there any friction surfaces in there designed to have a certain amount of friction? Oil bathed clutches or brakes for example.
Personally I've shyed away from STP ever since I put it in a motorcycle about 1970 and immediately had clutch slippage not cured until I replaced the wet clutch plates
I also discovered around that time exactly why one doesn't put Armorall on the seat either, which they later added as a warning on the package, sometimes friction is a good thing
