Anybody ever heard of \"Modern\" brand implements?

I have a local dealer who carrys "Modern Mfg." brand box blades and rear blades. Has anybody out there ever had any experience witrh or know anything about them? Are they decent? I am driving the 20 miles today to take a look, but I thought I would ask you all first. Thanks.

Yup, Modern is outta Texas, (so unless you insist on buying Made in USA /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) they are real nice. A lot of there stuff comes galvanized instead of painted.

One thing I really like about their Boxblades is that you can get a basic boxblade and later upgrade to lever raised scarifies or hydraulic activated ones. I don't know of another brand offering that.

I don't have their box blade, but just picked up a used "grading scoop" that they made several years ago. It has a wide, rear-facing scoop with a smallish box blade front edge. It's rock solid, and I will probably look their way for implements in the future.

Also, since the scoop came to me used, I called the company to ask a few questions. They were not only very friendly and helpful, but they dug up an old manual and sent it to me.
