Anybody get any STEROID INJECTIONS for back pain lately ? Urgent ..read this.!

Good reason to avoid the dope and just go see a good chiropractor and/or massage therapist instead ....

How about seeing a good orthopedic doctor and with MRIs, x-rays, etc. find out what the cause of the pain is so you get the right treatment. One of my grandmothers once went to a chiropractor for her back pain. When the chiropractor got through with her, he had to call an ambulance to come get her and take her to the hospital.

And a great grandmother went to a chiropractor and he broke her hip; she never walked again. She probably had bone cancer that had weakened the bones that was the reason his manipulation broke her hip.

However, my younger sister used to go to a chiropractor that she said did her a great deal of good.

So I don't know of any "blanket" recommendation that's worth a hoot.

it's unfolding right here in a city 15m north of me.

nasty stuff.. hard to treat.. i hear.. and the meds are hard on the liver and kidneys too!

i hear the feds raided the manufacturer ( compounding pharmacy? ) today..

been lots of trouble with compounders lately.

one in ocala florida, north of me.. place called franks or somrhting.. they made up some meds that kileld a bunch of $$$$horses.. then I think they were linked to some eye fungus problems.

Well, it appears I will be getting injections (Dope) in my spine next week Heres the deal, Doc say's I can have the "local anesthesia" or get completely "knocked out", So has anyone had this procedure (direct into the spinal column)?? Only impute I have had so far, has been 2 of my wife's co-workers and they get the full knock out treatment!

I've done it both ways, in my neck and lower back, herniated discs a real problem, and boy was that uncomfortable without
sedation, which normally is "twilight". You go in, get the twilight, and you wake up remembering absolutely nothing, and for many, with no pain.
I'm sold on sedation, several times the alternative has been real torture.

I have 2 bulging disk, severe sciatica on one side and moderate sciatica on the other, they offer both total sedation and the "local", I will probably go with the the local in the office, I am betting the price difference is huge.

Insurance covered everything, though the copay was 100 bucks for me, a bargain to get out of pain.
