I really like the article on the guy running the Bidirectional tractor use two 18' Mower Conditioners. I was curious though why not mount one on the front than tow the other off the back? Can the front 3pt hitch lift less than the rear?
I believe that was what he was doing w/ the TV140 bi-directional.. he had two 18' mower conditioners for a total of 36' wide cut. One was a 3pt mounted on the front.. the second was mounted on the rear.. the rear one has a pivot arm that swings the cutter out to the side of the tractor. I sat in one at the dealership.. the seat & console pivot w/in the cab.. so like the ad says.. "Never look back again!" They always have great pictures & stories..
I scanned a picture from the New Holland News that shows a NH Bidirectional with a 18' mower-conditioner out front, and another 18' mo-co out back on a pivot arm. This farmer does custom bailing, making 2500 big round bales of straw and 11,470 round bales of hay last year. On his best day he has done 350 round bales.
I get it since I purchsed the TN. The last issue had full page ads for most of New Hollands tractors, TN series and up. No mention of the Boomer. It seems to concentrate mostly on the larger equipment. Nice pictures of farms and operations. I suspect you could ask your dealer to put you on the list.
I bought my TC18 in September and just got the first issue a week or two ago. I set the mail on the kitchen counter and Mrs. AndyM threw it away before I had a chance to look at it.
The lesson is, don't leave "junk mail" laying out long, if you plan on looking at it later.

Maybe Hazmat's wife brings in the mail at his house and he only thinks he doesn't get it /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
