To answer your question, VISIBILITY. It is much easier to look that direction and see the implement instead of looking over the hood. There are farms that use 9000 series JD's to do the same thing, always enough power.
Most dealerships have copies of the NH news at their parts desk. You can also talk to your dealer if you want to get on the list or go to NH's website and see what you can learn there. An e-mail will do a lot.
Your dealer has to subscribe to this program if he does not you will have to find a dealer that does. The dealer has to pay for each and everyone of these that gets sent to his customers the last I new it was around 75 or 90 cents and the dealer has to have minimum amount of 200 names on the list in order for him to use the program.
I guess I better thank my dealer the next time I go to see him. In the latest issue there is a recipe for "Whipped Cream Cranberry Salad" that I made and took to my girlfriend's house for Thanksgiving. It was a big hit. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
What's this country coming to? Tractor guys talking about Thanksgiving Day salads? Our grandfathers are probably rolling in their graves wondering what the hell happened to their boys. What's next, discussion about feminine protection products?
(Just kidding Jim, I'l bet the salad was delicious. Would you care to share the recipe?)
...and does that threaten you? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Okay, the recipe is attached. To make you feel more masculine, I wrote it on a greasy rag I use to clean my shotgun with. ...NOT! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I was just reading the article about the 2 18' cutters and noticed another interesting point.
When he turns a corner the front mower just turns the corner with the tractor. He turns the rear mower which is on a swing arm by steering it with his hydrauluc system. After turning the corner he swings the rear mower to the other side. The second mower then is able to cover the width that the turn took so it is very effecient. He also stated that he is able to leave behind two swaths that are just as wide as the bailer and that allows him to make a better bale.
Overall a very impressive operation.
Well I interrogated the wife. She said she thinks about throwing this stuff away /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif But hasn't yet done it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Anyway, I guess my dealer didn't subsribe me. It is available online. As well as a couple other "magazines"
