anybody have a Kubota L240

it's keno again looking for some feedback on a kubota L240 ....anyone out there have one or had any experience with that nunber ....have searched the net and talked to some people on the phone and they think I can get parts....I'd just like to hear from someone who has one or knows someone who has one. Maybe I'm going about this wrong but ...there seems to be a bunch of knowledgeable people on this forum and maybe they can help...I'm gong to get a tractor one way or another ...hope to hearr some imput . and thanks to those that replied before ken

I've got a L245 and I can easily get parts at my local Kubota dealer. Normal things like filters they stock and other items they order in and I have in 2-3 days.

I have owned and operated a L240 for over 5 years. It is a great little tractor. Mine is a little hard starting but once I get it going, I use a post hole digger, 48" mower, 48" box drag, and 48" roto tiller.

I have 30 acres and it works hard. I have been able to find parts via the web and follow up phone calls to dealers whom stock parts for grey market tractors. I have had to replace the water pump, glow plugs, and lights. Other than that it keeps on working. I am in the market for a 30 hp tractor with a front end loader (Tired of hauling out all the horse manure with a wheel borrow.) I will be looking to sell at some time.

There are a few around. In my search I think the L240 was manufactured in 1976. Good luck
