Anybody here ever make money gambling?

I've mentioned before that my mother in-law frequents the local casino(s). She usually does very well. She takes her $150 with her. And counts what she has when she gets home. She usually has $200+, sometimes $300+, so she knows shes winning. She has a few loss nights, but she's up a couple thousand on them for the year. They gave her a "vip" membership. She can eat free there anytime she goes. So she goes maybe 3 times a week.

We can sit right next to her, on an identical machine, make the same bets, she'll win $50 and we'll lose $20.

I really think the casino keeps a few people winning so they act like advertising for the rest of us suckers.

I tend to gamble on pretty women, and have lost a BUCK or two on them…..

Both my parents were born in 1932. They married each other at age 33, and that's AFTER my mom had her own "career" working in both the military service and federal government (I always considered my parents ahead of their time per what society at the time expected between males and females dating and what was expected of the woman in the relationship).

I'll never forget their advice to me...

Whoever asks whom out, the person asking buys. After that, you go dutch. Never spend money on a person expecting something in return.

You want to gamble on pretty women, make it a sure bet and go to a w h o r e house (dad's words, not my mom's).

I wouldn’t believe that, neither one of my sisters look like our mother.

I wouldn’t believe that, neither one of my sisters look like our mother.

I have 6 sisters, and each one looks a lot different than mom, and none shaped like her…..

They all did get her cleaning ethics tho, my oldest sister gets home wether from work or a 12 day trip, and first thing she does is pull out the vacuum sweeper.
Drives my BIL crazy!

I have to say, day trading, in the late 90's was like free money. I got out, before it crashed, but for a while, it was good times.

The irony is you wouldn't have a STD issue if prostitution was legalized.

In Nevada it's mandatory to wear a condom along with the women being tested weekly.

For the record, I didn’t even know they would be legal in the USA
