It would have to make the "collectible" list to be worth anywhere near the original new sales price of $12,400.

I spoke with a supplier for Yanmar parts about this tractor when placing an order. The supplier knows the owner and indicates the owner is a "good" person. The supplier commented about how many non-original parts are on this tractor with only 244 hours. Apparently the owner replaced many parts to get it in "museum quality" (the owner's viewpoint) condition. To me the tractor looks like a good old tractor in good shape but has been used. It does come with a brand new seat. As a side-note, many tractors have hour meters that don't reflect the actual time the tractor has worked.

Im pretty sure that one does too. Like mine its variable on the YM2000. Its an hour at I think 2400rpm. so if you run half (1200rpm) that I guess it would take 2 clock hours to equal 1 hour meter hour. So if they used the thing to muck horse stalls or a chicken house it could have 2x that hours if they putted around or if they tilled a garden at lower RPMs. But in reality so what, yea its more but what is 500 hours on a tractor..still very low.

At first I couldn't understand how only that few hours could get put on a tractor, I ran mine like 25 that first year and I didn't live where I used it. But here now its been like 8 years since I had it and I have only put like 100 hours on it in that time. I use it at my farm property which is 3 hours from my home. And the few years after my son was born we might have only got up there a few times a year. I cut grass and bushhogged then but only a few hours a year. This year I have been up there I think 3 or 4 times this summer. I don't bush hog every field every time (one field I hit almost every time as I am trying to get more grasses into it and get the weedy stuff and briars outcompeted) but with what I maintain I only put like 10 hours this year on it.

So if this usage pattern keeps up after 32 years I will have something like 300ish hours that I put on it.

I would have long forgot to renew the posting . That's what always happens with me and CL especially on something like that that you know is not going anywhere anytime soon.
