Anybody recognize the Company logo on this Kioti joystick valve?

Kinda off the subject... but my cable activated joystick control ( like one pictured) was sticking on my TYM T450 and I took it apart yesterday ( removed caps held on by allen screws) and found LOTS of corrosion...PB'ed all the pieces and wire wheel to remove rust/crud... couldn't get the control under the boom cover ( large cover) apart ( component parts) and didn't want to force and break something so cleaned it as best I could...lubed /greased the heck out of the parts ...thing is when first put back together I could curl bucket down but not back up ( like cable was broken)...took apart again and worked the plunger manually with my finger... twisted plunger clockwise then put everything back together and now works....question is...what is inside control between where cables enter and plungers that control flow????? ( that could come apart) Don't want to be in middle of project with loader and have something fall apart...thanks...al PS- bought ratchet rake yesterday from TSC for leveling/ filling pot holes on gravel road but haven't used it yet

This is what a spool looks like.

Small pieces of metal, rubber, large grit, etc can jam up a spool.

You can rotate those spools 180 degrees and reinstall and should work the same.

They should slide back and forth easily.

How about the end pieces under the cans, the centering springs, float assembly, regen parts, etc?

There are little balls and springs on the spools and need to function correctly.

Do you have a manual for your valve?

Thanks JJ...no manual...E-Mail to TYM on their site a few months ago about my problem, but no answer...when I told my dealer a couple years ago about sticking loader functions he told me to lift rubber boot on joystick and squirt lube onto cables...after reading other problems with control cans weep holes admitting water and corroded innards, I took mine apart ....did not try to remove plungers( spools, I guess) as I did not know what I was in for sight unseen...all I needed was small bits springing out around the yard...the innards in the can for bucket I could get apart but the one for the boom was impossible to take apart ( remove spring etc.) as I could not get allen screw to turn, but got most of the corrosion off. (replacement assembly would be nice !!) My problem has been that when I push stick forward into float I hear a SNAP sound and the boom arms continue down and lift front of tractor and SNAP sound when I pull stick back to stop lifting....Swam in invitational swim meet at Johnny Weissmuller (sp) pool in Jacksonville one winter about 1968-9 when I swam fly for U-MN swim team...al ( come to think of it...I think the meet was in Fort Lauderdale)

Eric, are these stock remotes from the Factory?

Yes, but as optional equipment. The NX doesn't come with any remotes but there are three locations in the cab for the cable actuated levers. My dealer (who has been easy to work with) hasn't installed any on any of the NXes and doesn't know what to do until they are looking at the parts as to how to add a third remote.

I guess that Kioti turns out to be like everybody else: one kit for the first remote and two second remote kits--but nobody knows for sure.

If your valve is working correctly, and you go into float, the lift arms should descend and float.

If the float mode lifts the front end off the ground, that means that you are not in float, and that means that the float assembly is rusty, jammed up with debris, or loose.

I bought a second position kit for my DX45SE, which was installed by the dealer. I also bought a workshop manual for the tractor. I had to have the dealer come out to fix the leaking valves, they crimped one of the o rings installing the valve. Watching them, and reading the manual, I later had no problem working on the valves.

I found that the workshop manual for my tractor included the installation instructions for the second valve kit. Looking at the parts book for the NX6010, I only see kits for the first and second positions listed, plus the brochure on the NX series I have offers onal a single or dual remote valve, so I can't help with the third position valve. But I would suggest you get the workshop manual to look for installation instructions.

You might also try Fit Rite Hydraulics for a third valve option, they are an advertiser on this site. HTH.
