Anyone adjusted a shuttle shift??

First things first...I've got a '02 6000 4WD...Have noticed lately that the shuttle shifter has a tad of "slop" in it (going from forward to reverse)..I noted last week that when I shifted from forward to reverse and let out the clutch it had not engaged (didn't have any grinding). I went back to forward and it took...really pulled it down this time and it engaged in reverse...anyone adjusted their 00 series shuttles?? Thanks BobG in VA

I have the 5500 4x4, the only problem I had was the handle on the linkage shaft for the forward and reverse was begining to have play in it. I removed the handle and drilled and taped for two set screws, so far so good.
