Anyone any idea what this is worth?

It's a JVC GY-X3 camera works with VHS cassette tapes and has all the bells & whistles on it even a 3CCD chip.
I know it was used for broadcasting and recording matches.
To buy new it would've cost an arm and maybe half a leg.
It has great image & sound quality and it is one heavy beast to carry.

I wonder what it's worth these days?

There has only been one sold on eBay in the past week or so. It looks like it went for $99.00.

You can buy a Canon, Panasonic or similar state of the art video for less than $400. The Kodak Zi8 is under $100, and can do more than the JVC.

We just bought one of these, and the results are quite stunning.
