Yes, it burns clean... I've run it in several diesels that I have, including my older tinker toy tractors, but I haven't put it in one of the new diesels of today.Yea, not for winter temps.
There are times when the tractor runs for hours sitting with the load on the pto.
Then I need to PAY to throw away the drain oil.
50 /50 seems rich. Burns clean?
Here's a story for you... When my dad was alive, he would sometimes buy things we really didn't need, like cooking oil. I guess he would forget that he already bought it.
Anyway, one day I was digging in a lower cabinet, cleaning it out and I found several open bottles of cooking oil and when I opened them, they smelled rancid.
Well, I took them all out and poured them into my Kubota diesel powered lawn mowers fuel tank and they nearly filled it. I mowed all of my grass two times running on near pure cooking oil and the mower ran great, you would never know what fuel I was using except for how the exhaust smelled.
I'd have no problem doing it again...
