And if you mount single base LED lights (not light bars) with a heavy duty round magnet it's easy to use them as a spotlight that you can aim to the side if needed.

the neat thing to see in the video still shots i made above is that in the top right corner with stock lights you dont see the bucket of another tractor (painted green) with the led lights you can clearly see it. i think i went overboard with using relays but what the heck do it once and do it right. i mean LEDs take so little power anyway but i figured i would rather have it on its own fused relay in case wires get shorted down the road. i put one relay for the front facing led light bar and one relay for teh two bear claw type led lights rear facing. I really wanted to get the green light-up push buttons too to turn them on and off like the stock buttons but i could not find them anywhere and Mahindra wanted $65 each!!!!! i picked up a couple of light up rocker switches on ebay fro couple bucks each. the relays were like 6 for 12 bucks, so now i have 4 extra fused relays floating around the basement somewhere for future use. fun little project putting the lights on.

airbiscuit there is two plugs behind the right tail light that say BC+ and BC - is that what you are talking about? There is a single wire with a single black plug as well. I can't seem to find anything on these.

On my New Hollands, under the seat, there was an unused plug that looks like this:

It was live when the key was turned on. It is part of the wiring harness for a work light. I believe Kubota does this as well. Do you see anything like that? Are your BC+ and BC- plugs unused (nothing plugged into them)?

That plug in the middle picture looks interesting. Have you connected a meter or test light to any of the plugs to see if they are hot, always on, or only on when the key is in the run position? You could ask the Mahindra dealer what unused plugs are for. That might give you an idea about their capacity.

I tried the dealer they didn't seem to know much, I went over the manual and could find nothing about it. I have not tries a meter or test light I currently don't have one but that was my next step.

My M6040 has a plug - up under the right fender. I have a plain 'ol tractor work light mounted on the turn signal bracket. There is a switch on the front face of this bracket. The plug is hot when the ignition is on and/or the tractor is running. I use it under the RARE condition that I will be plowing my driveway at night.

Being retired - this light will rust off the bracket from non-use. It's all I will ever need if I decide to plow at night.

View attachment 597778 However, if you are looking for a proven LED light. Julian A McDermott Corp., 1639 Stephen St, Ridgewood, NY. They make/sell marine quality LED lights for use on commercial watercraft. Having spent a summer on a fishing boat in Alaska - their 9" x 12" - 55 watt LED light is a real winner. Throws a beam about 150' wide and out at least a quarter mile. Even the smallest of tractors will have sufficient power to run one of these units. Definitely turns the night into broad daylight.
