. . . The only down side is that after hooking up the implement, simply backing up doesn't always make the telescoping links lock back into place. There could be a trick I haven't yet learned or they could need some grease, but it's an issue I'm having with it right now.

In case you haven't figured this out, all you have to do is pick up on the 3pt hitch and the telescoping lift arms will return to the working position.

I've really enjoyed your observations on the 5E. Thanks for all the effort.
