I have not heard from anyone for a while. Whats going on....changing from mowers to snow blades? Just stirring the pot!

Anyways, used the 756 BH today to plant a couple of trees, nearly froze my rear off! 19 last night, 15 tonight....woo!

If I have the time and energy, the top and tilt is coming off the TC24D and it will be replaced with a hydraulic toplink. The tilt cylinder will be recycled to control the chute rotation on the snow blower.

Not quite a TC24, but I used my TC18 today to clear five inches of snow from the driveway...
Too cold and windy to do anything else!

Almost at 400hrs in 3yrs. Never thought I would have that many hours. Lately I have been putting 4X4 in the ground for our Snowmobile club. I've put in around 50 with the backhoe. We tried using a post hole digger and kept breaking shear pins. At the last park, I swear 90% of the park is a foot or so of dirt on ledge. It was an active volcano at one time.

I was just looking at your post on TNT and thinking it may be something I need to do soon. Otherwise, it's the rear blade and firewood time.

You know, 400hrs in 3 years prompted me to get up and go out to the garage and look at mine. I'm at 338, not far off. With all of the toys, it really does not take long to rack the hours up!

The 4X4's are for guardrails?

TNT- Let me know if you need some more details that may have been left out of the post if you decide to do it. I have worked it pretty hard and have had no signs of any problems!

No power raking this time of year for me. Instead i have my box blade on and have been clearing snow. I didnt realy need to do that as we are getting rained on today. I have not been on the tractor for a week so i figured any excuse would do. I looked at my tach and have 158 hours. Looks like i need to step it up if i'm gonna keep up with the jones.lol

Haven't been doing much with mine. I don't think it has been started in probably 3 or 4weeks. Last time it was out was to carry the kids Jack-O-Lanterns to the compost pile - I had let them sit on the deck too long and they were oooeeey-gooooeeeey squishy and you couldn't hold them so I used the FEL. A couple of days before that I had mowed the grass. Still need to get the deck off and the rear blade on. Doesn't look like I'll get to power wash the underside of the deck this year as the power washer has been winterized for close to 8 weeks because we had a cold spell and had to winterize it "early" even though I still had to mow. Now it is too cold to be out there playing with the power washer. Guess if we get a warm day I'll scrap off what I can.:(

400 hours in 3 yrs. Your going to wear it out!:) I've only put 305 hrs. on my TC18 in 5-1/2 years. I am however going to put the blade back on so I can burn my brush pile.

Last weekend I finished spreading about 60 yds of woodchips on the bank alongside my driveway. Now the 24DA sits ready to plow...if it even snows this winter. Temps are supposed to be in the 50's or close to it, this coming week.

I put 1500 hrs on a TC21D in 5 yrs. My 24DA only has 230 in 2 yrs.

!

Sign posts. State doesn't want them on trees or metal posts anymore.

Thanks on the TNT. Been one of those projects on the back burner. I did install the Front push bar, and want to weld on something to stop finer brush.

Just did a little touch-up work on our private road to make it wider, then started the switch over to winter gear. I stuff the rear blower on a large pallet in my shed for summer storage, quite the shoe horn job that requires removal of the FEL just to get the tractor turned inside. Now the MMM rests in there for the winter, safely chained and blocked to the wall.

Also welded up some brackets for shoes on my rear blade, can't wait to try them. Still no snow this year, story of my life in the 3 years and 346 hours (had to go check!) I've had the machine. Need to put the chains on today.

Other than that, its just a firewood mover and garbage can transporter this time of year. Gives my son good practice on the machine and the neighbor pays him well for the garbage can return each week.

Keep your fingers crossed for tons of snow!!!!

This thread inspired me yesterday. I did go out and start the tractor. Took the MMM off and rolled it back into the garage - had to back it out to take it off as too much stuff has migrated into the garage.:( I then put the rear blade on. I believe I'm ready for the snow. Though I still didn't get the MMM cleaned. It is also due for an oil change, hydraulic fluid change, and antifreeze change as I'm at 667 hours. I will probably just wait until spring and do it all. There will probably only be 2 hours put on it between now and the first mowing. Now if we start getting a bunch of snow and I start putting a bunch of hours on I'll go ahead and do it all. I know, I should've already changed it so the engine doesn't "sit" with dirty oil in it. When I do all of this, I need to get a couple of items for the MMM as well that need to be fixed/replaced.
