Put in the $13 CREE 60w 800 lumen bulb this morning that I picked up from Home Depot.
Put it over the kitchen table... light is ok, bulb appears well made and it uses 9.5w with a 10 year warranty.
Proof of purchase, receipt required when mailing back bulbs under warranty.
I also like that it has a coating like a shatter proof shop light, instant on, temp range from -13F to 113F and assembled in USA
Light is well centered and color is 2700k
Never thought I'd willing pay $13 for a light bulb... then I also never thought I'd be paying 35 cents a kW at third tier level.
If it performs as advertised I'm satisfied.
Looks like I need a new shoebox for LED warranty proof of purchase and receipts... I do take a Sharpie and mark month and year on my bulbs.
