Here's a link- they have a cool powering method:
They are plumbed into your power steering system!
Well, for your tractor, you could use a little imagination!
Maybe make an adapter (receiver?) that you could put at either end of the tractor.
You know, attach it when you know that you'll be playing in th mud!

The Army even hung up their electric winches for this.

I use a 10,500 milemaker about a year ago to make a skidding winch. Do a search to see pic's of it and it does work very well.
