That would be a decent price if it sold for the opening bid. Any higher and I would be inclined to purchase new with the free helmet or torch and $75 rebate available.

Always good to see what they actually bring at auction. I think they are a dealer so it might qualify for the offers. Wherever you buy it make sure to let us know how you like it!

Good point. I didn't notice the seller was a dealer until you mentioned it. And also, to the OP, if you have a choice between a free helmet or tig torch, take the torch. IMO better value.

I purchased a 211i when they first came out. I bought it online from welders supply (I think), anyway, it was the first one they sold. I have no complaints. I never could get it to feed from the small mig spools, but it works great with the 10lb spools. I bought the tig torch, but have only played with that. It makes great mig welds and the stick function will run 7018 and 6011 like a champ. I haven't tried 6010. I bought it to do some paying jobs and it has payed for itself.

Also, it came with a cheesy stamped ground clamp. I called TA and complained, they sent me a nice brass clamp, lead and everything. This is the only picture of a bead I have handy. That's a 10" 3/16" wall pipe with a 6" sch 40 pipe welded at 90 degrees. I migged it outside with the leads running out the shop window.

Too funny---it was the ground clamp improvement that started the company ! The founder developed the brass clamp for grounding...the rest as they say " is history"

Just a follow up. After a much agonized welding machine search we ended up purchasing the Lincoln Power Mig 210 multiprocess. Still like, TWECO 211i, but the authorized dealers around me just didn't seem interested in the TWECO brand for some reason. No welders or parts in stock anywhere. Miller great welder, but I thought that the local supplier, great folks, but, were more interested in experienced welding customers with much more need than a DIY'er. Had to pull for info about the machines. Everlast caught my eye, still does. I needed a walk-in type of purchasing experience right now based upon my limitedknowledge. Hopefully, we'll eventually get to experience a lot of machines, IMO, each company has a lot to offer.

It might catch your eye now. They are reduced to 850.00 (MTS 200) but the package now only includes the MIG gun and stick torch and regulator to be similarly competitive with the PM 210 MP. TIG torch and foot pedal are available as an option.

Hi Mark. First, I do like the Everlast products a lot. My son and I are taking welding courses at a vocational school nights and will bring the Lincoln to class. We didn't make our final decision on cost and really didn't save money on the Lincoln with options, K4195-2 & K3269-1. We wanted to make sure we could get local, walk in support if anything happens to the machine or consumables. My son and I hope to learn during class time, guided by the course instructor, to also recognize it's strength and weakness of the various welding processes. I doubt that this will be our last and final purchase. Thanks again.
