I took a look at one point but it was very cloudy. I guess the clouds came and went, but I went to sleep instead. Saw some very cool pics on a photo site I frequent.

Steph took some that turned out ok. We were hoping to see some of the colors that were predicted, but didn't.

I got maybe two good pics out of 5. One looks like 5 moons, could'nt hold still.
But I did get 1 good one that shows some of the color. I try to post tonight.

And I didn't even think of trying to get a picture. The newspaper said clouds were expected to prevent anyone in this area from seeing the eclipse, but I went out to see and it was clearly visible until the eclipse was almost total, and then clouds moved in and obscured it completely.

Here's the only one I got where I didn't bump the tripod. :) There was a thin haze that broke for only a few moments, so I snapped it. It was COLD out in my jammies!

My kids and I watched it with the telescope. We had a great view out the kitchen window which was nice since it was 10 deg. out.

You didn't even have to bump your tripod Dave, I just read that the moon "moves" a full moon width across the sky in only two minutes. Exposures more than a second will likely suffer from motion blur!
