Next move for me is a 4x4 FEL with a landscape rake on the back. I know it depends on the size of the tractor, but I wondered if anyone was hauling one dump trailer?

For starters, the FEL will definately hang over the front bulkhead of the trailer.

Anyone got pictures of a TLB on a dumptrailer?

What are you calling a TLB?

My dad just built a rack for a guy that does tree work. It was mounted to the front of his dump trailer, so that when he put his (dads description) very large 4X4 tractor with front wheels chest high, tractor on his dump trailer, and the front bucket hung over the front, it would rest on this rack.

Apparently they were resting it on the lip of the trailer, and when making tight turns with their high dollar 4X4 newer model truck pulling it, it would wipe out their tail lights.

I will have to ask dad if he took pictures. Knowing Dad, I doubt it. I do know that they made it out of 2 X 2 x 3/16 tube and that it had that shape, which I cannot remember the name, a rectangle with one side shorter then the other, so that it would fit on the tounge. Our discussion centered around how to make that all cut and fit right so it would fit the tounge.

Like a small Deere 30-40 HP 4x4 tractor with a FEL & a landscape rake or a 7' bush hog on the back.

Sully,

Thanks. I may be buying a PJ dump trailer. Looking at 16' 14,000lb. What implements are on your M-5700? FEL? rear mower?

Any chance you have some pictures you could upload?

Hauled my cat 287 mtl in my dump alot during the storm days. trailer was 10 ton 20' gooseneck Midsota dump. one of the best sizzor lift dumps i've owned. Also had the bed raised to 12'6" total and built out over the goose for a total of 63 cubic yards:eek: the trailer was a beast! but the ramps seemed a little short for my liking. always raised the dump (by the handy keychain wireless remote:D ) to @ a 20 degree angle to load and offload. made it "feel" safer
Downside was weight- 28K truck and trailer! a little much for my 3/4 ton gas Chevy- 4 mpg:(
