Might any of you have favorite implement dealers you have purchased from in southern Indiana? I live south of Bloomington so that puts me about 70 miles south of Indianapolis to give you a better idea of where I am located.

Although I own a John Deere, the "green" implements sold by my dealer cost too much of another kind of "green" that I like to keep in my wallet.

I am looking for dealers who might sell First Choice or Midwest or some of the well spoke of brands as discussed in TBN. What I need is a box blade and a grader blade.

I sent e-mail to a couple of implement manufacturers asking for a list of their dealers in my area but never received a reply. Guess I may need to go the old fashioned route and use the telephone.

I didn't have a First Choice dealer near me. I ordered them from Carver Equipment, my implements were here in just four days 1290 mile delivery. Excellent e-business Steve runs.

Hoefling Truck & Tractor in Washington is who I had order my 'blue' Midwest Box Blade. They are a Case & Kubota dealer, but were more than willing to order what I needed in the color I wanted from Midwest. Phone for them is 1-812-254-3970 or 1-800-777-9852. They've been around for years and have a great reputation.

Also, Blesch Brothers is a BushHog dealer and have treated me well onstuff I have bought there (purchased my NH TC45D there, as well a 6' BH finish mower, 6' BH rotary cutter & 6' BH tiller). I don;t have their number handy, but look at the newholland dealer locator and type in Holland In. to get their #. If you call Blesch, ask for Kevin.

If you end up ordering from either one, let me know and I can bring it up to you on my trailer and save you a trip as I live about 15 miles from Washington and Holland and am up to Bloomington 5-6 times monthly.

I bought my bush hog, boom pole, post hole digger, and sickle mower from D&J Equipment just east of Nashville, IN on SR46. (812) 988-6635. I don't know if they sell the brands you mentioned. I bought King Kutter and Leinbach brand stuff. His prices beat Quality Farm and Fleet and Big Blue when they were around, and now they beat TSC (by a lot). He also sells used, which is what my sickle mower was (Ford).

Blesch Sales & Service....(812) 536-3421

Hopf Equipment in Huntingburg sells Woods and Befco....(812) 683-2763

Both of these dealers are about a 1.5 hour drive from you in Dubois County.

I also buy from Hoefling's in Washington. Bought my BX2200 there in August 2001. Also bought the LandPride RB1560 there too. I was just there this past weekend about a LandPride landscape rake. I noticed the MidWest equipment they carry now. Wonder if they can get a rake from MidWest in the orange color...

If Hoefling's doesn't have an orange Midwest rake in stock they should be able to order one for you. They were willing to order some green Midwest implements for me the last time I spoke with their salesman. Give them a call.

Might take them a couple of weeks to get the rake in, but I know they did not hesitate to order the blue boxblade for me a few months back. By the way, hello from Winslow!

Sorry, orange is only available from Kioti dealers. We do offer gray matched to the chasis for Kubota. Actually, it's my new favorite.
